Can’t say enough about Kayla’s childbirth course! Even after just one session, we had such better expectations and felt that much more equipped as partners to do this together. We felt comfortable enough to ask any questions we had and I personally felt SO empowered to let my body do what God created it to do. This wasn’t just for me as the one giving birth-Austin, my husband, was that much more prepared and was given tools on how to help and support me during the process. It got us even that much more excited to welcome our baby, Shiloh, into our lives! Kayla, thank you for making us feel so comfortable to talk through anything and giving us so much encouragement and practical help!!

Kayla Heeter was my amazing doula for two of my three kids. Seven years ago we moved to NC from VT at seven months pregnant. I didn’t work with a doula for my first baby but moving into a new area I figured I would appreciate the extra support. Little did I realize what a blessing our relationship would be. She was supportive and knowledgeable throughout my whole pregnancy and afterbirth. She helped me navigate through hospital set up, a water birth and even an unexpected home birth. I can’t recommend her services enough. Thank you for all that you do Kayla!

Kayla was an incredible advocate during the birth of my first born. My husband and I trusted our midwife and had a great relationship with her, but Kayla helped us make wise decisions throughout the labor. She encouraged me, helped give me words when I didn’t know what to say, and reminded my husband and I that soon and very soon we would be meeting our beautiful daughter! I can’t imagine not having her there! Doulas play a special role in the birthing world and Kayla is beyond gifted by God to walk through it, each step of the way, with your family!

Kayla’s childbirth classes were so informative and in-depth. I was fortunate to have done a bit of my own childbirth research prior to her classes, so hearing her speak more about the info I had read and give her life experience was invaluable and validating. I feel that for someone with lesser knowledge it will be even more eye-opening. Her material was well-researched and backed by a plethora of her personal stories. The knowledge gained really helped us to feel equipped to make our own decisions and much more prepared for the arrival of our first child! Would 100% recommend her to others!

Taking Kayla's birth class has worked wonders for me. I went into the class scared, anxious, nervous, really all the feelings. I ended the class feeling strong, empowered, confident, and ready for birth. I learned so much from this class; things I know a hospital class wouldn't have spoken of. I feel confident in being able to stand up for my needs/wants with my doctors and while having a hospital birth and for that I am forever thankful. I also think Kayla's class is really good bonding time for husbands because they get to see and hear all the ins and outs as well as learn techniques for a calm labor. I learned so much from this class and I will recommend it to everyone who is pregnant! No matter what kind of birth you plan on having, this class is wonderful for all births. Thank you Kayla for making me feel confident for labor and delivery. I am forever grateful!

​​Kayla’s birthing class was AMAZING and super educational! So much better than any class that you will take at a hospital. The materials were perfectly organized for us and everything was very clear and easy to understand. She went into thorough detail on every topic and I feel extremely prepared for my birth experience. Even though this is my third child, I still feel that I learned so much information that I didn’t know previously. I highly recommend Kayla’s class to anyone who wants to be extremely prepared and educated for childbirth!

Kayla is very informative but also relatable and makes this class feel personable and not something you’re just taking to take. It has helped me gain a better perspective on the entire process and I feel comfortable about everything including labor and makes me feel I’m 100 percent ready and that my experience can be amazing and not traumatic.

Choosing Kayla to be our doula for our first baby was the best decision we made and I truly feel she was God sent. Her birthing classes were SO informative and helped me be able to advocate for myself and my baby better. I feel that aside from God- she is the reason I was able to carry to full term because my doctors were trying to induce me at 37 weeks and Kayla continued to be the support I needed and reassured me that my body knows what it’s doing and I had no real signs of needing to be induced at that point. I ended up having my baby at 40 weeks and 5 days and he was perfectly healthy and so was I. She opens up your eyes to all things dealing with pregnancy and childbirth that I had no idea about. We wanted to do a natural birth, with no medications but that didn’t go as planned because my blood pressure was a little high at the end so I had to be induced unfortunately. Even with being induced- having Kayla there was wonderful and helped tremendously. She helped my birth experience still be everything I could’ve hoped for with the situation that I was given. She still to this day checks on me and my baby and I still ask a million questions that she always answers, even postpartum. Kayla is great at what she does and having her throughout this experience was a blessing and we would do it again.
